How would you like to get actively involved in a community of women and men who are committed to preventing breast cancer before it starts?
We are a small, non-profit organization with a big mission – ending breast cancer – and value the time and effort that our volunteers offer to help in this significant goal. Your help could provide the energy and attention we need to get our message across to legislators and corporations. Work with us to let them know that we will not accept exposures to toxic chemicals linked to breast cancer found in our everyday environments. Whether you have one hour per month or a day to give, we want to hear from you!
Join MBCC as we work to support legislation to ban PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) and other toxic chemicals from food packaging and children’s toys in Massachusetts!
This page will direct you to the official MA Legislature website and help you to find and contact your local government officials.
Pick from a list of volunteering opportunities including event promotion and event day assistance, writing letters to the editor, contacting legislators, hosting fundraising get-togethers, and more!
Funding supports Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition’s community education and outreach programs, including the award-winning Let’s Talk Prevention: Reducing Toxic Exposures Program, the MBCC Webinar Series, and the environmental health education program for students, Let’s Talk Prevention: Actions You Can Take. We are grateful for donors who help support our mission of breast cancer prevention.
