The 18th annual Festival of (Giving) Trees will be held December 3 – 6, 2015 in Southbridge, MA. The Festival is a four-day extravaganza of family-friendly holiday cheer in support of breast cancer prevention efforts. All proceeds will benefit the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC), Silent Spring Institute, and the Cancer Center at Harrington Hospital.
As part of the educational component of the Festival, Cheryl Osimo, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition and Co-Founder of MBCC’s sister organization, Silent Spring Institute, will be presenting at Bartlett High School in Webster, MA.
Dr. Barbara Malkas, Superintendent of Webster Public Schools, says, “I am pleased that Cheryl Osimo will be presenting at Bartlett High School on Thursday, December 3rd, to discuss with students the importance of mitigating exposure to chemicals of concern and living a healthy life. This is an important issue that we all need to be aware of not just in Central Massachusetts, but throughout the country as well.”
We invite all of our supporters to consider attending this year’s wonderful holiday event. For a full schedule of events, please visit www.sparklingtrees.com for more information.
