EXCITING NEWS FOR 2012!
Join us for our first Aquathlon! An Aquathlon is a “splash & dash” event. First, “splash” in the 1 mile competitive swim, then immediately following, “dash” onto your choice of a 5K or 10K competitive run.
In addition to the new Aquathlon, you may still participate in your choice of the recreational 1 mile swim, recreational 2 mile kayak, recreational 3 mile walk and recreational or competitive 5K or 10K run. Please see the schedule below for details.

Against the Tide is more than just a Breast Cancer Walk. Participate in this empowering and uplifting half-day event by raising $175 minimum per participant by event day. Participants may enter as a team, with each individual participant raising the $175 minimum. Of course everyone is encouraged to raise additional funds, and our Registration/Pledge short form or Registration/Pledge Long Form (includes schedule) and sample fundraising letter can help you start to fundraise! Please note that because of the generosity of our wonderful sponsors, the cost of our event is 100% covered – EVERY DOLLAR YOU RAISE GOES TO MBCC’S WORK TOWARDS BREAST CANCER PREVENTION!
