Webinar: Reducing Breast Cancer Health Inequities Across the Cancer Control Continuum

Mary Beth Terry, PhD, is a distinguished cancer epidemiologist with over 25 years of experience in breast cancer research, focusing on genetics, epigenetics, and biomarkers of environmental exposures. Since July 2024, she has served as Executive Director of Silent Spring Institute, leading studies on environmental risks during key developmental periods, especially in high-risk communities. Dr. Terry has contributed significant insights into early-life exposures and breast development through her role as co-developer of the LEGACY Girls Study and over 450 scientific publications. In her previous role as Director of Community Outreach at Columbia University’s Cancer Center, she built networks to address health disparities and support policy change. She holds a PhD in epidemiology from Columbia University and an MA in economics from the University of Washington.
