The Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) invites you to see two important films.
HBO’s documentary Toxic Hot Seat follows firefighters, mothers, activists, scientists, journalists and politicians as they work to expose the chemical industry’s role in requiring harmful toxic flame retardant use in our homes.
Earth Focus’ documentary Unsafe: The Truth Behind Everyday Chemicals highlights the hundreds of chemicals in our air, water, soil and everyday products that remain unregulated or inadequately tested for safety.
MBCC is proud to be co-sponsoring three screenings and panel discussions to be held on April 9 in Boston, April 21 in Hyannis, and May 21 in Falmouth. MBCC’s Executive Director, Cheryl Osimo will be moderating the discussions in both Hyannis and Falmouth, and Dr. Laurel Schaider from Silent Spring Institute, MBCC’s sister organization, will be on the panels.
