Dear Friends,
We can’t thank everyone enough for making our 26th Anniversary LGBTQIA+ Dance such a special night! Whether you were at Club Café or on Zoom, it was wonderful to see everyone joining together to support breast cancer prevention.
DJ Christina rocked the night away with a great selection of music and kept the night moving along as our talented emcee.
It was a great pleasure for MBCC to present an award to Jim Morgrage and to honor him for his incredible support of the Dance. We would also like to humbly thank Governor Maura Healey and Actress/Comedian Lily Tomlin for their kind and generous remarks to Jim. If you would like to watch this video, click HERE.
MBCC was also very happy to welcome Mariangely Solis Cervera, the City of Boston’s Chief of Equity and Inclusion.
Of course, thank you to the generous and caring sponsors that have provided MBCC with the opportunity to host events such as the LGBTQIA+ Dance year after year.
An enthusiastic round of applause should be given for the special people who bought tickets to the Dance in support of MBCC and our mission to prevent breast cancer. Lastly, I would be very remiss if I did not thank the kindhearted volunteers who have donated their time to support cancer prevention.
Funds raised from the Dance help to support and expand our community education program Let’s Talk Prevention: Reducing Toxic Exposures, MBCC Webinar Series, and the student environmental health program, Let’s Talk Prevention: Actions You Can Take. We could not do this work without you, our wonderful supporters.
Thank you for helping us to change the legacy of breast cancer for future generations!
With deep appreciation,
Cheryl Osimo
