Dear Friends in Prevention,
Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) has been hard at work to deliver on our mission of preventing the environmental causes of breast cancer through community education, research advocacy, and changes to public policy.
As our award-winning Let’s Talk Prevention: Reducing Toxic Exposures educational outreach program continues to reach new audiences across the Commonwealth, MBCC is now developing Let’s Talk Prevention: Actions You Can Take designed for high school students.
MBCC continues the challenging work of water quality advocacy and recently reached out to all of our supporters to join us in contacting Massachusetts legislators to support Bill H.2919 An Act Relative to Drinking Water and Ground Water Research, to establish a research trust fund for Silent Spring Institute.
MBCC is honored to feature Dr. Laurel Schaider, Research Scientist at Silent Spring Institute, as guest speaker for our April 26 webinar “Emerging Contaminants in Massachusetts Drinking Water.” Please join us for this important discussion, by clicking here to register.
MBCC’s continued educational outreach and advocacy efforts are made possible by the tremendous support and talents of our volunteers, donors, staff, event chairwomen, and Board of Directors. It is only with your continued support in 2017 that we will be able to change the legacy of breast cancer for future generations.
With hope and gratitude,
