2019 Against the Tide Results

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your contribution to the 20th annual statewide Against the Tide event, held in Brewster on Saturday, August 17, 2019. It is because of your support, passion, and dedication that the money raised for the Against the Tide events in both Hopkinton and Brewster so far is $99,390 with more fundraising dollars still coming in! When passionate individuals join together for a common cause, we can envision a better world for our children, grandchildren, and future generations.

Thanks to our volunteers, athletes, participants, and sponsors, Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) can continue to educate our communities about the environmental links to breast cancer while dispelling myths and misconceptions about the realities of this epidemic. With your support, we can continue to advocate for greater research and additional changes to public policy in order to move toward our goal of breast cancer prevention. The more money we raise, the more people we can reach. Fundraising pages will remain open and accepting pledges until September 27, 2019. You can also mail your pledges or donations directly to MBCC: PO Box 202, Franklin, MA 02038.

On behalf of Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition staff and Board of Directors, thank you for your courage to not just envision a brighter future, but to help promote positive change. Together we will continue to work towards a healthier world for future generations.

With heartfelt thanks and appreciation,

Cheryl Osimo
Executive Director
