Dear Friends in Prevention,
On behalf of Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC), thank you for your support of this year’s Lesbians & Friends LGBTQIA+ Dance! Your energy and support helped make the 28th year of this event a wonderful success and your support of MBCC’s mission towards breast cancer prevention is greatly appreciated.
A heartfelt thank you to Liz Nania of OUT to Dance and Sandy Bailey for leading an engaging dance lesson, and to Club Café (Jim Morgrage and the entire team) for their partnership and generosity in helping us create a welcoming space for our community.
MBCC was deeply honored to recognize E. Denise Simmons, longtime Cambridge Mayor and the first openly lesbian African-American mayor in the U.S., for her trailblazing leadership and decades of service. She was truly deserving to be honored this year.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to our event sponsors, whose continued commitment makes this event possible year after year.
Thank you again for your incredible support — and for helping us make the 2025 LGBTQIA+ Dance an unforgettable night!
With gratitude,

Cheryl Osimo
Executive Director
