This year’s Against the Tide events in both Hopkinton and Brewster couldn’t help but evoke a famous quote from Margaret Mead: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
It is because of your support, passion, and dedication at Against the Tide this summer that the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition is able to continue working towards preventing environmental causes of breast cancer through community education, research advocacy, and changes to public policy.

Because of you, we are a coalition that stands strong. From our dedicated volunteers, supporters, and sponsors to our walkers, runners, swimmers, and kayakers, every single contribution has made a difference. Every Against the Tide participant has brought us one step closer to making our mission a reality.
