 A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO 2012 FUNDRAISERS FOR MBCC…

Porter and Chester Institute in Canton, MA has designated MBCC again this year as recipient of their annual fundraiser which raised a record $265, bringing a grand total of $515 gifted to MBCC through the years!  This annual event consists of the staff rounding up family recipes, then producing cookbooks. The cookbook sale which also includes a yummy bake sale is sold to staff and students at this caring school. We want to extend our sincerest thanks to Lori Hicks and Linda Marx and to their students Pamela Malden, Andrew Fabiano, Brittany Hernandez, Justine Muldonian, Angie Saccone, Kelley Parma, Bijal Patel, Ruffina Ruff-Gonsalves, Jackie Gutierrez.

Mill River Winery of  Rowley, MA honored MBCC by donating 10% of their White Zinfandel sales during the months of September & October. This sale generated $209.25 to benefit MBCC. Thank you to Donna, Rick, Jamie, Marcia, Steven, Russell & Al and all the patrons of this northshore winery!

The Thoreau Club of Concord, MA has embraced MBCC for many years. And 2012 is no exception! After their tennis tournaments of April 2 and April 9, a donation of $1,950 was presented to MBCC. The generosity of this beautiful club and it’s members is truly appreciated. The club donates the courts, the tennis professionals donate their time and the tennis department donates the luncheon so the ladies of Thoreau can fully enjoy this annual event. Huge thanks to everyone once again!

Wellesley Middle School presented a check for $217 from the successful raffle that was held to benefit MBCC. Thank you to all involved in this fundraiser.

Steven Viner, author of ‘The Never-Never Door’, has embraced MBCC since 2010 with his generosity. Once again, Steve has sent us the proceeds from the sale of his book. To date, MBCC has been gifted with $499 from him. As always, we are honored to be the recipient of Steve’s kindness. Thank you Steve!
