The 20th Annual Against the Tide is a benefit for the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition. Join us on Saturday, June 23rd at DCR’s Hopkinton State Park and again on August 18th at DCR’s Nickerson State Park. The event consists of a 1-mile competitive or recreational swim, 2-mile kayak, 3-mile walk and/or 5K or 10K competitive or recreational run. New for 2012 is an aqualthlon which includes a 1 mile competitive swim plus 5k or 10k competitive run! Participate in one or more of the recreational or competitive events in any combination. The Against the Tide begins at 7am and lasts until Noon. All participants over 18 must raise a minimum of $175 by the event day, all of which will go towards breast cancer prevention research.
