Thank You for Helping Change the World: Against the Tide 2014

Girl Scouts cheer on Against the Tide participant at Brewster 2014 event
Dear Friends,
This year’s Against the Tide events in both Hopkinton and Brewster couldn’t help but evoke a famous quote from Margaret Mead: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
It is because of your support, passion, and dedication at Against the Tide this summer that the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition is able  to continue working towards preventing environmental causes of breast cancer through community education, research advocacy, and changes to public policy.
The more money we raise, the more people we can help with our outreach. We remind you that fundraising pages will remain open and accepting pledges until November 16th.  You can also mail checks to the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition: 333 Weymouth Street #13, Rockland, MA 02370.
Because of you, we are a coalition that stands strong. From our dedicated volunteers, supporters, and sponsors to our walkers, runners, swimmers, and kayakers, every single contribution has made a difference. Every Against the Tide participant has brought us one step closer to making  our mission a reality.
The Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition staff and Board of Directors thanks you for your commitment to change the world for the better. Only when we work together can we create a world where our children will not have to struggle with a breast cancer diagnosis. Thank you!
We hope to see you again next year.
With thanks and appreciation,
