2018 Against the Tide Results

2018 Against the Tide Results

Dear Friends,

Congratulations to everyone who made the 26th annual statewide Against the Tide event in Hopkinton on June 16th such a huge success. With each passing year, Against the Tide continues to grow, inspiring and encouraging us that prevention is possible. Your support of Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) has made an enormous impact on future generations everywhere. It is because of you that MBCC is able to conduct community education, research advocacy, and changes to public policy in the interest of preventing environmental causes of breast cancer.

Thanks to our participants, sponsors, and volunteers, we have been able to raise $104,017 for breast cancer prevention with more fundraising dollars coming!. Because of you, we are a coalition that stands strong. MBCC’s staff, consultants, and Board of Directors thank you for your courage to not just envision a brighter future but to make true change happen.

We invite you to join us again on August 18th at Nickerson State Park in Brewster for our 19th annual Cape Cod Against the Tide. It would be a pleasure and honor to see you at the event. To register, please visit https://www.firstgiving.com/event/mbcc/2018-against-the-tide-brewster.

Together we can create a world where future generations will not have to be faced with a breast cancer diagnosis.

With deep appreciation,

Cheryl Osimo
MBCC Executive Director

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.

Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
