For over 25 years, MBCC has taken action towards prevention. We greatly appreciate the on-going support we receive from our members and hope that we continue to provide you with the actions and resources you need to help in our collective effort to prevent breast cancer before it starts. A sincere thank you to our generous contributors! Below is a list of fundraisers that were held to support the work of MBCC.
A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO 2016 FUNDRAISERS BENEFITING MBCC…
MBCC is grateful to its youngest Against the Tide chairwoman, high school student Kaitlyn Wong, who set up a table at her local market and not only promoted our statewide annual event, but asked for donations to help spread awareness for prevention. She raised $74 during her outreach. We are thankful and very proud of Kaitlyn’s initiative.
The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod recently held a ‘dress down’ day for their employees. A voluntary donation from the employee is given for the option to wear jeans in the workplace on October 7 and 8. Employees contributed $465 to MBCC. Thank you to all.
July 30 was the date that East Coast Haunt Club held it’s 8th Annual Silent Auction that took place during The New England Haunter’s Gathering. MBCC is grateful, once again this year, to have received $800.00 raised from this amazing event. Thank you Team Halloween!
Huge thanks to Chris Condon who raised $680 from the 1st Memorial Hot Rod/Motorcycle Cruise held on June 25. Chris organized Betty Boop’s Tires for TaTa’s to carry on his late sister’s tradition of fundraising for breast cancer awareness and chose MBCC to be the recipient.

We would like to thank Thoreau Pros – Rick Sharton (Tennis Director), Jeff Hagman, Aaron Brown, Anna Zurek, Ryan Adamonis, Salim Chraibi, Frank McCammon, and Noah Orth for their donation of time & courts. Judy Lochner of The Soap Pedlar has continued her partnership with MBCC’s advocacy, education and outreach efforts to prevent breast cancer. Judy has been designating a percentage of her soap sales to MBCC. As we begin 2016, Judy has raised $277.00 for MBCC. Stay tuned as Judy attends craft fairs and raises more for breast cancer prevention.
